We’ve been hard at work creating a new atmosphere of complete terror for the 2012 season! Orland Park Lions Club Haunted Woods presents Forest of Fears. This outdoor haunted attraction will feature over 3 acres of heart pounding scares. This year's theme: A Stalk in The Park. Experience what happens after dusk as you trespass past the old iron park gates and witness what lurks in the darkness. If you are lucky enough to make it to the edge of the park, a glimpse of the Park View Hotel can be seen and the hotel always has vacancy for new guests or should I say victims.
The Forest of Fears is a haunt attraction with high startle impact, containing special effects, use of fog and strobes as well as moments of complete darkness and feeling of Claustrophobia. The Forest of Fears is a complete outdoor attraction with parts that are covered from the elements, but nonetheless patrons should dress for being outside 1-3 hours including wait time. This attraction is not recommended for children under 6, expectant mothers, individuals with epilepsy or heart conditions The Forest of Fears is produced by members of the Orland Park Lions Club along with Prepared to Scare Productions who helps in the creation, design and construction of the attraction.
The Forest Of Fears prides itself on being a complete charity haunt. All profits from this event will benefit the Orland Park Lions Club and other local non-for-profit organizations that help in haunting the attraction. This haunted attraction is completely designed and haunted by volunteers. It is the dedication from many volunteers who have helped for many of years to make this attraction such a success. The Orland Park Haunted Woods has provided an affordable haunted attraction for families and teens in the south suburbs of Chicago for over 20 years
